Nestled in the lower peninsula of Michigan, growing a cottage garden full of veggies, homegrown teas, and plenty of cottage flowers has been a passion of mine for years.
It’s my mission here to help others achieve their garden goals and bridge the gap between their gardens and their kitchens.
Here at The Cottage Vegetable, you will find bite sized information about gardening, preserving, and pantry meals to get you started with a productive gardening lifestyle and creating a practical kitchen through it.
About Chelsea at The Cottage Vegetable:
My name is Chelsea, and I am a wife and a mom to three children that I homeschool. I grow veggies, fruit, medicinal plants, and flowers in my own garden each year. I am passionate about organic gardening, nourishing foods, and natural homemaking. I have worked as a RN for 10 years and through that experience at the bedside, I have been passionate about living a healthy lifestyle through homegrown foods.
I have made a mission to utilize what I learned working as a nurse and my many years of growing a garden in my own home to help people step into a healthier and happier lifestyle with successful gardening.
We currently live in a beautiful Michigan countryside setting of 3 acres. Along with my family we have a large garden, chickens, ducks, and a dog named Rex.
