Here is my declaration that all my blog posts will be written myself.

Recently the tool ChatGPT has picked up popularity within social media and blogging.

If you don’t know, ChatGPT is a program launched late last year (2022). It is a program that allows people to ask questions to an AI program. The AI program then gives an answer from pulling information from the internet.

The problem??

Fraud.

Bloggers and social media users have now figured out that this program can give them pre-scripted post captions and even entire blog posts.

They can tell the ChatGPT to write them a post with certain criteria, and the program will spit out a believable caption or blog post.

This is making it very easy for someone to pretend to be an expert in a field, even if they have no personal experience or have no knowledge behind the topic.

It’s going to muddle the blogging world and the social media world, especially in niches where skills are learned.

It is also going to become harder and harder to see if you are learning from a person who has direct experience to pull from or just a robot who regurgitates what the internet says.

This can really turn scams to be even easier to accomplish when products or services are available.

Of course, no one knows the long-term effect this is going to have since it is brand new.

However, I am here to write that all posts under The Cottage Vegetable is written by myself, Chelsea.

Ideas, topics, and written words are all done from me and accomplished on a keyboard.

I pull from my personal experience and lessons to then show you how gardening, preserving for a real-life kitchen and household is possible.

I also have plans to make a YouTube video to each blog post, where you can hear me talk about the topics in a more casual tone or more visual step by step format.

So, this is my declaration to make sure the authenticity of The Cottage Vegetable remains clear to my audience.

All posts will be written, reviewed, and published by myself, Chelsea, without the help of ChatGBT to ensure genuine information and feedback is available to learn from.
